As Jason and Kennedy continued to get over their sickness, Rachel's symptoms got worse on Monday. She was on top of it and consulted with a doctor who got her some meds. It wasn't long before she started to feel better.
Although she's not quite walking, Kennedy is getting to a point where she can take a step or two. She's still pretty wobbly and not quite sure of herself, but she'll get the hang of it with time.
When we get out and about with Kennedy it always makes us feel like we're with a rock star. She attracts so much attention that we're always getting stopped. On Sunday, it was even worse. Kennedy was wearing her new red Toms and oh boy did we get a lot of comments. We couldn't hardly get any of our errands finished because we were constantly being stopped. We don't have a good picture of her wearing her Toms so we included one from last week.
Kennedy continues to get into everything! It will be crazy when she starts walking. She still tries to catch Sammy, with no luck yet. In the photo below, she's chasing him. With all of her activity, we finally gave in and installed the safety latches on our cabinets. It'll take some time to get used to. We keep slamming them when we try to open them.
On Saturday, Rachel got a new piece of furniture. LuAnn had alerted us to an antique sale in the area so we went by. Rachel has been in the market for a new cabinet to place near the entry way. They had lots of great options and Rachel picked one out she liked. When we tried to load it in the car, it wouldn't fit. We forgot that the we had the carseat so we had to go back home, drop off the girls and Jason drove back to pick it up. Not exactly the most fuel efficient method, but we got it home safely. The girls swung by Home Depot and got a part so that Jason could fix a faucet that had been dripping for some time.
