Whitney's Graduation

On Monday, Kennedy started at her new daycare. She did about as well as could be expected. Drop-off is pretty rough, but the teachers said she calms down pretty quickly and has been interacting with the class throughout the day. They have even started working with her on going to the potty. They take all the kids and let them sit on the toilet, but I don't think Kennedy really knows that she is actually supposed to do anything when she is on the toilet. She is very excited to see Mom at the end of the day.

We haven't gotten much unpacked. In the evenings it seems that we are just too warn out to really accomplish much.  We have taken a couple of walks throughout the neighborhood in the evenings.  It seems that each time we walk out the front door, we bump into a new neighbor and get to visit for a few minutes.  We're really happy with the neighborhood and look forward to seeing our family grow up here.  Still not many photos of the new house.  Once we get a little more settled, we'll be posting some updated photos.

We headed to Amarillo Thursday after work. Whitney, Jason's sister graduated with her Bachelor's degree on Saturday from West Texas A&M University. She actually completed her degree in 3 years. She has decided to stay on for another 2 years to get her Master's Degree. We are so proud of her and we're so happy we could help her celebrate. It was also a good time conversing with family as all of Jason's family on his mom's side were in town for the celebration. We don't all get together very often, so when we do, it is quite a special time!

It also turned out to be Mother's Day this weekend, so we were excited to actually spend that holiday with our Mothers! We did have to leave pretty early to get home in time for our Sunday chores, but it was still a good time.
